TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter "Terms") govern and regulate the relationship between Só-Sorte, Exploração de Jogos Lda. (hereinafter referred to as eBet) and its customers.
These Terms include, but are not limited to, important provisions regarding the conditions under which a customer may establish and operate an eBet betting account, as well as restrictions and conditions that will apply to the relationship between the parties and the various betting transactions and products that eBet offers. It is therefore essential that you read these terms in full and make sure you understand and agree to be bound by them before opening an account with eBet.
1.1. No person may apply for an account or place a bet on eBet or enforce any debt arising from such a bet unless such person -
1.1.1. is an individual (companies, corporations and other legal entities are prohibited from betting);
1.1.2. is at least 18 years of age;
1.1.3. completed the account opening application accurately and completely and was accepted as an account holder by eBet;
1.1.4. it is not listed in the register of persons excluded by the competent bodies.
1.1.5. does not violate these Terms and Conditions.
1.2. Anyone completing the eBet account registration form warrants that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and all Rules relating to betting on sporting events or any other type of duly licensed games available on this Site as updated from time to time and therefore will be deemed to have made a request asking eBet to:
1. have access to opening an account at eBet, which will give you the possibility to place your bets on sporting events or on any other event or type of game duly licensed by the ISJ.
2.1. The Customer warrants that all information provided in the application form/account opening, completed by the Customer is and will remain true and correct. The Customer undertakes immediately, and in writing, to inform eBet of any and all matters or changes in details that may relate to an approved order or the Customer's identification and/or contact details, credibility, legal capacity or eligibility. continued as a customer.
2.2. eBet reserves the right to:
1. accept a request for a new account;
2. decline a request for a new account for any reason;
3. Fail to accept bets from a Customer in its sole discretion for any reason. For which reason eBet will not be obliged to provide or disclose to the Customer or any other person, and may refuse a request for a new account if:
3.1. the account request form has not been completed in full and/or:
3.2. the information contained in the account request form is found to be incorrect or subject to a material omission and/or:
3.3. any information that must be submitted in conjunction with the entry form, or requested by eBet before or after submission of the entry form is not provided by the applicant in the form or format or within such time limits as eBet may specify.
2.3. The Customer will be solely responsible for the safekeeping and proper use of all his account details and other information that will enable him to place a bet. The Customer undertakes to:
1. not register or have more than one account with eBet;
2. not apply for an account on behalf of any other person;
3. only use your own account for wagering purposes;
4. not permit any other person to place a bet, directly or indirectly, by making use of such an account reference number, username or personal identification number.
eBet will not be responsible for honoring any transaction relating to any account held or requested, or for paying any winnings in connection with any bet so placed. The Customer may indemnify eBet against any claims, losses or damages arising from such bets.
2.4. The Customer undertakes to notify eBet immediately if their Customer account information is lost, stolen, misappropriated or used by anyone other than the Customer, or the Customer has reason to believe that any of these circumstances have occurred. The Customer will be responsible for all bets placed with eBet and any payments made by/to eBet in connection with any purchase and/or transaction completed on the Customer's account prior to notification in accordance with this clause.
2.5. Once a business relationship has been established with a Customer, an account will be created on behalf of the Customer and the Customer must log into this/his eBet account for the purpose of entering into betting transactions with eBet, using his/her custom logins, including a username and password.
2.6. If there is any difference between the information entered by a Customer at the time of logging into his/her account and the information provided to eBet by the Customer at the time of establishing the business relationship, the Customer will not have access to his/her account and must contact eBet for assistance.
3.1. eBet is bound by the provisions regulated by Angolan laws in general cumulatively with instructions and regulations from the regulatory body (Instituto de Supervisão de Jogos). These detail requirements in relation to identity establishment and verification procedures, customer due diligence, recording and ongoing monitoring of transactions, record retention and related matters. All these requirements have been implemented to ensure that betting services provided by licensed bookmakers such as eBet are not used illegally as vehicles for money laundering and/or financing of terrorism or other criminal activities.
3.2. When the ISJ or its associated regulations and instruments specify such procedures and/or restrictions, eBet will operate in accordance with such procedures and/or restrictions. where the ISJ does not specify such procedures and/or restrictions, then eBet must implement its own procedures and/or restrictions (always subject to any applicable legislation) in order to promote good corporate governance and socially responsible betting practices. 3.3. In the online environment, eBet is obliged by the legislation in force to verify the identity of future Customers before being able to legally create a betting account for any Customer. In such cases, as part of the account registration process, potential account holders will be required to provide eBet with the following personal and related data:
(i) Full names;
(ii) Date of birth;
(iii) Nationality
(iv) Residence address;
(v) Profession;
(vi) Civil identification or passport number;
(vii) Tax identification number;
(viii) Email address;
3.5. No betting account will be created unless the identity of the Customer requesting it has been conclusively established and verified by eBet.
3.6. The following procedures will be followed by eBet in relation to a Customer for whom proof of identification and residential address is required:
(i) Whenever a Customer presents his/her identification document (ID or passport) in person, eBet will make a photocopy of that document at the licensed facilities and will verify that it is a true copy of the original, which must be archived and retained for registration purposes.
(ii) When an identification document is transmitted to eBet by electronic mail, such documents must be current (not expired in the case of passports) and authenticated as true copies of the original.
(iii) The driver's license can be accepted as proof of identification, provided that:
1. The driver's license is valid/current (has not expired) and,
2. The driver's license reflects, on its face:
• A photograph of the carrier;
• The bearer's full name;
• The bearer's date of birth and
• The bearer's Identity Card Number.
(iv) Utility bills and similar documents submitted as proof of residential address must not be dated earlier than three (3) months of receipt from eBet.
7. By completing our online betting account registration form, the Customer irrevocably confirms and consents that eBet will have the right to confirm such identification, which eBet may choose to perform and/or is required to perform by applicable law, required by any regulatory authority having jurisdiction. The Customer further consents that, as part of the registration process, and at any time during the period that the Customer is the holder of a betting account with eBet, it may provide the identification details and any related data provided by the Customer only in accordance with the data protection law in force in Angola.
8. As part of complying with our legal obligations, the Customer may be required, at the time of the registration process, or at any stage during the period in which he holds an eBet betting account, to provide eBet with a copy of his documents. identity card (i.e. a copy of an identity document and/or passport which must be legible and valid), proof of physical address in the form of an account statement/invoice (provided by a municipal administration or bank). eBet must inform the Customer which documents he may need for this purpose.
Failure by the Customer to provide any document within the time period specified by eBet for this purpose:
(i) if required as part of the registration process, will result in suspension of the registration process, without any betting account being created for the Customer until the information is provided to eBet's satisfaction, or
(ii) if required at any stage during the period when the Customer is the holder of a betting account, will result in the suspension (deactivation) of the betting account until the information is provided to eBet's satisfaction, or the definitive closure of the betting account, if the Customer neglects or refuses to provide the relevant information.
9. As part of the registration process, the Customer will be asked to select a dedicated username and secure password in relation to the betting account.
10. Once all required verification procedures have been successfully completed, the betting account will be created.
11. eBet is obliged to proceed with the clear and unambiguous identification of players/betters who bet an amount equal to or greater than the equivalent in national currency of USD 2,500.00 as well as players/betters who are winners of game prizes in an amount equal to or greater to the equivalent in national currency to USD 2,500.00.
3.12. eBet is also obliged to send information to the official guardianship bodies in the case of:
(i) Suspicion of suspicious or unusual transactions, and
(ii) Transactions carried out by persons suspected of intending to commit or of having committed any infraction provided for in Law 5/20 of January 27 (Law for the prevention and combat of money laundering, the financing of terrorism and the proliferation of weapons of mass destruction
3.13 eBet reserves the right to suspend any account that has not met the above requirements
3.14 eBet may, at any time, ask a Customer to present a printed or electronic copy of their identity document or passport and/or proof of residential address
4.1 eBet shall, at its sole discretion, determine the markets, events or contingencies on which bets will be offered by it; and, has provided that:
(i) Multiple bets are not accepted where the outcome of a part of the bet contributes to the result from another. If the customer inadvertently or deliberately supports a related contingency in a multiple bet, the bet will be void and the bet returned;
(ii) Any multiple bet comprising more than one selection from the same event will be considered a related contingency, for example. Benfica to win the Tournament for Benfica to win the semi final;
(iii) Any multiples involving the same team or its players or the same selection will be considered a related contingency.
4.2. eBet may at any time determine a minimum or maximum amount that can be wagered on a bet in relation to any market, whether generally or in a specific case. It will be the Customer's responsibility to ask before placing a bet on a market whether such a maximum or minimum is applicable to that market.
4.3. eBet may determine minimum or maximum amounts that a Client can win or lose in relation to a bet ("stop wins" and "stop loss"), either in general or in a specific case. a bet on a market whether such a maximum or minimum is applicable to that market.
4.4. eBet may, in its sole discretion, from time to time offer its Customers the opportunity to place bets during the course of a particular event ("betting in progress"), provided that:
1. eBet may not accept bets in progress in relation to an event that forms part of a series of events over a period of time, and
2. if the relevant event is not televised, no ongoing bets will be offered.
4.5. The nature and extent of any spreads offered by eBet will be determined from time to time at eBet's sole discretion and it will be the Customer's responsibility to ask, prior to placing a bet, what the prevailing spread is.
5.1. The Customer must place his bets over the internet, or if he is using the mobile betting platform, or through other electronic means that may be made available by eBet.
5.2. Any betting transaction between eBet and the Customer will only be valid once such bet has been accepted by a software program operated by eBet.
5.3. eBet may, at its sole discretion, accept or reject a requested bet, or any component thereof.
5.4. The Customer authorizes and consents that each telephone conversation or electronic communication related to any game or bet made is recorded by eBet in strict compliance with the legislation in force, in a support that eBet deems appropriate, taking into account the legislation on data protection and retains such recording for as long as the legislation determines and eBet deems necessary. The Customer acknowledges that eBet is required to keep such recordings by law and that such recordings may be used by eBet for the investigation and resolution of disputes that may arise between it and the Customer or for any other legal purpose.
5.5. The Customer will be responsible for ensuring that the bet is accurately placed and recorded by eBet. eBet will provide confirmation of a bet to the Customer as required by law.
5.6. eBet will accept bets 24 hours a day.
5.7. The Client will be responsible for ensuring that he is fully aware of the rules applicable to the market on which he proposes to place a bet.
5.8. Placing a bet means acceptance by the Customer of the Rules published by eBet in relation to them and these Terms.
5.9. Although eBet endeavors to ensure complete accuracy in relation to the announcement, publication and issuance of prices, off-times (event start times) and results, it does not accept responsibility for any errors that may arise in this regard and reserves the right to correct any errors in any way it determines in its sole discretion. The Client exempts eBet from any losses, potential or actual and direct or indirect, that may be suffered as a result of such error.
5.10. Any bet/game allegedly placed in respect of which details are not recorded or accepted by eBet betting terminals or betting software will not be recognized by eBet.
5.11. The moment of acceptance of a bet will be the moment when such bet was registered and accepted in the eBet betting terminals and/or betting software.
5.12. Any bet accepted after the "off" or start time of the event in which such bet is placed (except bets in progress) will be null and void and without force or effect. Any bets placed on outcomes already known at the time of placing such bets will be void/canceled by eBet if the bet type is a single bet. As far as multiple bets are concerned, the bet will stand excluding the event odds that have been voided.
5.13. Additional or new markets may be made available by eBet from time to time. It is the Customer's responsibility to read and accept the "Market Rules" applicable to such markets before placing any bets.
6.1. On the account request form, the Customer must indicate that he wants to bet against:
1. a payment made on eBet by the Customer through an electronic funds transfer proven on the eBet platform.
2. Purchase a voucher from an authorized eBet location and upload it to the eBet platform.
6.2. The Customer must not, under any circumstances, place a bet or attempt to place any bet whose value, calculated together with any other outstanding bets, exceeds the Customer's credit balance with eBet, or the net amount on deposit with eBet ( after all adjustments in respect of taxes, gains and losses up to the time of placing the bet). It will be the Customer's responsibility prior to placing a bet to determine whether their credit balance, as the case may be, will be exceeded when placing a bet.
6.3. If, due to an occasional system failure or for any other reason, eBet accepts a bet referred to in Clause 6.2, it will be entitled to its rectification before, during or after the result of the event or contingency in which the bet was placed, to to honor the bet or to refund the Customer's bet in relation to the bet, irrespective of any winnings thereon. Alternatively, eBet may restrict the size of any bet without notice to the Customer, to ensure that the credit or deposit limit, as the case may be, is not exceeded.
7.1. eBet will credit the Customer's account in relation to the winnings and refunds accrued to the Customer as a result of the bets placed.
7.2. No interest will be paid/accumulated on any deposits held by eBet.
7.3. In the event that funds are incorrectly credited to a Customer's account, it will be up to the customer to notify eBet of the error that has occurred without delay. Unless otherwise notified by eBet, any betting/gaming transactions of the Customer after the error has occurred will be void.
8.1. On an ongoing basis, eBet will credit the Customer's betting account with all winnings and refunds accrued and due to the Customer in relation to bets placed.
8.2. The Customer will have the right to request the withdrawal of funds from the credit of his eBet betting account, and the transfer of the same to an account in a banking institution indicated by him for this purpose, by completing an Electronic Funds Transfer Request, in the form available. on the eBet website and submitting it to eBet in such manner and format as eBet determines and which may be updated on its website from time to time.
8.3. Customers will be solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the information provided in any Electronic Funds Transfer Request Form and will ensure the accuracy thereof. eBet is not responsible for the payment/transfer of any amount requested to a bank account in which the information provided by the Customer is partially or completely incorrect.
8.4. Upon receipt of a fully completed Electronic Funds Transfer Request Form, eBet shall:
1. carry out any certification/checking that may be necessary to confirm that the amount requested by the Customer, after making any deductions or adjustments that may be necessary, as well as taxes due, is available to be transferred from the Customer's eBet betting account to the bank account indicated by the Customer for this purpose;
1. if the requested amount, after certification/conference is not available on the Customer's eBet betting account, inform the Customer in any way that eBet deems appropriate, that the request has been refused;
2. if the requested amount is available in the Customer's eBet betting account, within 24 hours after confirming the availability of the amount, effect the electronic transfer of the requested amount from the Customer's eBet account to the account indicated by the customer. For the purposes of this Clause, eBet will be deemed to have fully complied with its obligation to make such transfer at the time it instructs its banking institution to make such transfer within the aforementioned period. The 24-hour period contemplated in this Clause shall not include the additional period of time necessary for the banking institution to credit the requested amount to the bank account indicated by the Customer for this purpose, and
3. immediately reduce the credit balance of the betting account Customer's eBet for the transferred amount.
8.5. Withdrawal amounts will only be paid into a bank account in Angola on behalf of the Client.
8.6. Any withdrawal requested by a Customer may be held by eBet pending payment by the Customer to eBet of all amounts owed by the Customer.
8.7. Before releasing any funds from the betting account, eBet may require the Customer to submit proof of their bank account details, issued by the bank. Where necessary, eBet may carry out an online bank verification check in order to confirm that the account to which withdrawals from the betting account will be transferred is an account in the name of the Customer.
8.9. Subject to 9.7, eBet will process cashout requests on the business day following the cashout request date, i.e. all orders placed before midnight on a Monday will be processed on the Tuesday of the same week , and any withdrawal requests made between Friday and Sunday midnight of the same week will be processed the next following Monday.
8.10. Any amount transferred to the Customer's bank account by eBet in accordance with this Clause may be subject to a clearing period before being made available to the Customer.
8.11. Any free bets, bonuses or winnings credited to a Customer's betting account in error cannot be used by the Customer and in such cases eBet may void any transactions carried out by the Customer using such funds and/or withdraw the relevant amount from the Customer's betting account, either at the time the transactions take place, or later when it becomes aware of such an error.
8.12. Jackpot payments will be paid by bank check.
9.1. eBet has the legal right and obligation to monitor all activity on the customer's betting account for irregular or illegal activities and management of suspicious or unusual betting accounts. Any such activity may result in the immediate closure of a Customer's betting account, and communication to the competent public authorities.
9.2. eBet may withhold payment of winnings and/or declare bets on an event void and/or immediately terminate a Customer's betting account if there is evidence:
(i) of the Customer's misuse or abuse of bugs, failures or errors the eBet betting services accessed through its website ("the Services");
(ii) Customer's use of bots or any other form of artificial intelligence;
(iii) that Customer has hacked into, attacked or abused the Services or any servers, software or other components of the Services;
(iv) that Customer used VPNs or other software to circumvent any geographic limitations applicable to the Services;
(v) that the Client participated in, aided or facilitated criminal, fraudulent and/or illegal activities of any kind;
(vi) that the integrity of the event on which bets were placed is called into question;
(vii) that the odds or prices in relation to an event on which bets were placed have been improperly manipulated;
(viii) that mail manipulation, collusion, match-fixing, cheating or other unethical activity has occurred, and/or
(ix) that the Client is prohibited from engaging in betting by any term of his employment contract, any law or any rule of a sports governing body applicable to the Client.
Prizes whose values are equal to or less than kz 200,000.00 (two hundred thousand kwanzas) are exempt from payment of special gambling tax. For prizes whose amounts exceed 200,000.00 kzs, the following fees will apply to the excess amount:
Games of fortune or chance 10%
Social games/sports betting 20%
11.1. eBet shall have the right, before accepting any bet, to temporarily suspend or permanently terminate the provision of betting services to a Customer without giving any reason. Upon such suspension or termination:
1. eBet shall, at the Client's request, refund to the Client the balance of any amounts held by eBet on deposit for the Client, after adjustment for losses, gains and taxes and once such funds have been released into the eBet bank account;
2. Any amounts owed by the Customer to eBet will be paid immediately.
11.2. The Customer shall, upon written notice, have the right to terminate its contractual relationship with eBet at any time after the final completion of any betting transaction made by the Customer and after payment by the Customer of all amounts owed by the Customer to eBet . eBet shall, within a reasonable time after such termination, refund to the Customer the balance of any amounts held by eBet on deposit to the Customer, after adjustment for losses, gains and taxes.
11.3. eBet will no longer accept bets from a Customer in respect of which the provision of services in accordance with these Terms has ended, unless and until a new account registration form has been submitted by the Customer and accepted by eBet.
12.1. If Customer breaches any of these Terms and fails to remedy such breach within 48 hours of receipt of written notice by eBet requiring Customer to do so, eBet shall be entitled, without prejudice to any other rights it may have by law , immediately to terminate its contractual relationship with the Customer and terminate or suspend any bet placed by such Customer, whether accepted or not, and/or claim damages from the Customer.
In such event:
(i) all amounts owed by the Customer to eBet will be paid immediately; and
(ii) eBet will have a guarantee and right of retention on all amounts of the Client deposited with eBet, pending settlement of such damages that may have been suffered by eBet.
12.3. The Client will be responsible for any legal expenses (including legal expenses in the attorney-client relationship, collections and tracking fees) as well as any tax amounts from central government, or provincial governments, and municipal administrations that eBet may incur in the recovery of any amounts due in relation to the Customer's account or as a result of the Customer's breach of any of the Terms or the enforcement by eBet of any of its rights against the Customer.
13.1. No director, employee, partner or affiliate of eBet is authorized to place bets or maintain a betting account with eBet.
13.2. No person who in any way participates in an event on which betting is offered by eBet may bet on any event with eBet.
13.3. Any bets placed and/or erroneously accepted in breach of Clauses 16.1 and 16.2 will be declared void and void.
13.4. "Syndicate Betting" is strictly prohibited by eBet, Syndicate Betting refers to a situation where a group of people act together for the purpose of placing a bet or series of bets on the same event or market. eBet reserves the right to void all bets in relation to such Syndicate Bets and withhold payment of winnings, pending the outcome of a temporary or permanent investigation, and also pending the conduct of (and conditioned on the result of) an investigation.
13.5. The standard payout limit for earnings is limited to AKZ 50.000.000,00 (fifty million Kwanzas) per customer. Jackpot based games have their own jackpot payouts and are limited to one payout per customer per draw. These limits will have to be previously authorized by the supervisory body.
14.1. eBet reserves the right to declare any bet totally or partially void if such:
(i) was offered, placed or accepted as a result of an error;
(ii) was accepted in circumstances where such a bet would not normally have been accepted, for example. due to technical problems occurred in relation to the operation of the eBet website;
(iii) was placed as a result of or in the Union Betting process;
(iv) has been achieved in connection with an event the outcome of which has been unlawfully determined or influenced by unlawful conduct;
5. has been achieved in relation to an event in respect of which a subsequent announcement has been made that significantly alters the prevailing odds in relation to that bet, or
(vii) any other state of affairs beyond the control of eBet and which has arisen after the placing and accepting such bet, which materially affects the conduct of the event in which it was struck or the prevailing odds available therein, including natural disaster, a state of emergency, public calamity, an epidemic or pandemic, or any other similar phenomenon.
14.2. eBet may void a bet at any stage, regardless of whether the event in respect of which such a bet was placed has been settled or not.
14.3. If a bet is voided, canceled or postponed, the stake will be returned to the Customer if the bet type is a single bet. As far as multiple bets are concerned, the bet will stand excluding the event odds that have been voided.
14.4. In the case of a scratched selection in a single bet, the bet will be void, except when the bet is an ante-post bet.
14.5. In the event of an invalid selection and subsequent scrape in a multiple or combo bet, the selection will be ignored, and the bet will run to the other selection in the bet. These calculations must be done with "Full Cumulative Multiples" probabilities.
14.6. eBet reserves the right to withhold payment and/or declare bets void on an event (or series of events) if there is sufficient evidence that:
(i) The integrity of the event has been called into question;
(ii) Price(s) or pool have been manipulated, or
(iii) Matching has occurred, or the event is under investigation as a result of an allegation to that effect.
14.7. eBet uses Radar Bet's MTS risk management services, bets that were automatically voided from an expired market means that the market was closed moments before the bet was placed and that market cannot be accepted.
15.1. If a match is abandoned after it has already started, any bets where the result has already been decided, for example the half-time result or the first team to score, will stand. All other bets will be void regardless of the score line at the time of abandonment. Abandoned games will be considered games that do not reach their natural conclusion by midnight local time. Games where an umpire removes players from the field of play for a temporary period but resumes the remaining minutes of play by midnight local time will not be considered abandoned.
16.1. eBet reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to adjust, limit, cancel and/or reject any bet that has been accepted in error, occasionally
16.2. If an official correction is made to any price in any event that was previously incorrectly reported, all bets placed on that original price will be settled at the corrected price.
16.3. If any odds in relation to a bet or event have been incorrect:
(i) as a result of a system or computer malfunction, or
(ii) as a result of any other error, in circumstances where it is evident that the odds so indicated were skewed when compared to the prevailing odds on the larger market,
the bet or event will be deemed to have taken place at the correct price(s) that were available on the general market at the time the bet was placed.
17.1. eBet's liability to the Customer for any damages suffered by the Customer from any cause, including any damages arising from the negligence of eBet or its employees, agents or subcontractors, will in any case and in all circumstances be limited -
1. in in the event of damages relating to a bet, to the amount bet by the Customer in relation to that bet; or
2. in relation to the Customer's account with eBet, the credit balance of that account at the time the damages allegedly occurred, after full adjustment of gains, losses and taxes.
17.2. To the fullest extent permitted by law and notwithstanding any other provisions of these Terms, eBet will not, under any circumstances, be liable for any loss of profits, earnings or profits or potential earnings or any indirect or consequential damages suffered by the Customer, whether or not caused by the negligence of eBet, its agents or employees.
17.3. To the extent that any of eBet's obligations under these Terms are performed by any of its servers, agents, subcontractors, associates or subsidiaries, the provisions of Clauses 19.1 and 19.2 will apply mutatis mutandis and each of them will be exempted accordingly.
17.4. eBet will not be liable if the Customer is unable to place a bet due to congestion or interference with the internet network or other electronic means of communication used for betting purposes.
17.5. Any acts of God, war, strike, lockout or other labor dispute, fire, flood, explosion, enactment, amendment or repeal of legislation, failure of electricity or any other supplies, failure of telecommunications, failure, theft or default of any hardware or computer software or any other equipment, epidemic or pandemic or any other similar or different cause beyond eBet's reasonable control that leads to the cessation and/or restriction of eBet's operations, will give eBet the right to defer its obligations to the Customer in whole or in part, in which case eBet will not be liable for any damages of any nature suffered by the Customer, directly or indirectly, as a result of this and the Customer will not have the right to terminate its contractual relationship with eBet as a result of such an occurrence.
